Deep, bright ruby with a light garnet rim. Opens with intense notes of dark chocolate, gingerbread and preserved plums, also some fig. Great play on the palate, of dried plums and preserved cherries, appealing interplay between sweetness and fine tannins, also surprisingly juicy and quaffable. Very long finish.
