Tasting Notes
Clear ruby garnet colour. Opens with somewhat metallic notes, slightly of iodine, black truffle, appears closed. Compact and dense tannins on the palate, hearty and grippy, unfortunately a little short on the finish.
More about the tastingRich, deep dark ruby. Opens on the nose with pronounced spicy notes, lots of cinnamon and cardamom, then ripe dark cherry, multi-layered. Dense and gripping on the palate, shows plenty of grippy, rich tannins, very powerful, profound, lots of rich berry fruit on the finish, great ageing potential.
