The red wine Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe Barolo Riserva DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Cavallotto has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich ruby with flecks of garnet. Intense savoury notes at the beginning, of cardamom, dried mushrooms, then dried plums and some leather, mysterious. On the palate a lot of finely meshed, well-integrated tannin, nevertheless not a palate pleaser but gripping, opens in many layers, salty and long.
