The red wine Barolo Bricco Boschis DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Cavallotto has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Intense, distinguished radiant ruby red core. Inviting and precise aromas of bay leaf, ripe cherries, white pepper and hints of leather. A palate with very juicy tannins and clear fruit focused core. Delicately pronounced red berries, and polished finely-meshed tannins. A long juicy finish with hints of saline and flint. Very impressive.
