Tasting Notes
Deep ruby, delicate ochre rim getting brighter on the rim. Tobacco and smoke, nuances of red wild berry confit, inviting mineral notes, delicate notes of cherries, but also truffles and tar. Complex, powerful texture, firm tannins, youthful and long, shows great finesse, sweet finish, orange confit in the aftertaste, salty minerality in the aftertaste.
More about the tastingNovember 2005: Deep ruby in colour with a subtle ochre rim. Finely smoky on the nose, with cranberry, inviting mineral notes, almost Burgundian nuances, but also truffle and tar. The palate reveals firm tannins, youthful and long, with red berry notes, shows great finesse, with a sweet finish with notes of lemongrass on the aftertaste, a fascinating, classy wine. (Already wonderful to drink, still has a good ten years or more ahead of it).
