Tasting Notes
Barrel sample: Deep dark ruby garnet, almost black core, youthful reflections, delicately spicy on the nose, delicate smoked chamber aromas, fine precious wood notes, very firm tannin structure on the palate, crumbly, dark blackberries underneath, masculine texture, still very demanding, needs time, slightly astringent finish. A wine for cellaring.
