Tasting Notes
Barrel sample, spring 1997: Very deep color core, opulent nose, which is characterized by delicate wood in the direction of cookie and vanilla. Full-bodied, yet elegant and silky. One of the great wines of the vintage, perhaps a touch above its brother. Great potential for a good twenty years.
