Full-bodied, subtle notes of liquorice, real texture, dark berries, powerful tannins, sweet and persistent on the finish, a large, somewhat fiery wine with powerful potential, patience is required here.

More about the tastingDeep dark ruby garnet, almost black core, violet reflections, very intense red berry fruit on the nose, liquorice, floral notes, some stewed fruit, delicate dried fruit notes dominate. Very sweet on the palate, again delicately floral, incredibly powerful tannins, chocolate notes, very good length, overall a massive wine that offers very southern echoes and could hardly be assigned to St. Emilion in a blind tasting.
