The red wine Ferro IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Tenuta Collazzi has been rated in 2015 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby-purple colour. Intense, dark berry nose, initially reminiscent of heavy cigars, then lots of elderberries and plums, clear and concise. Lots of sweet fruit and savouriness on the palate, blueberries, cloves and cinnamon, full and wild, lots of power, storms off like a young thoroughbred stallion.
