The red wine Ferro Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Collazzi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Verdot
Rich, very intense ruby. Intensely fragrant nose with pronounced notes of elderberry, dark currant and fine savoury components, lots of cardamom. Firm, tightly structured tannin, forms the defining soul of the wine, interwoven with sweet texture, builds up in many layers, crisp and hearty, very long finish, also shows good drinking flow.
