The red wine Ferro dei Collazzi Toscana IGT from the winery Tenuta Collazzi has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with purple highlights. Opens with notes of tar and leather and lots of dark tobacco, then blueberries to the fore. On the palate it's full-bodied and rich in the attack and on the palate, majoring on compact dark berry fruit, then opens up with plenty of hearty, gripping tannins. Already very accessible, but additional maturity would certainly not hurt.
