The red wine Collazzi IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta Collazzi has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Intense and deep nose, nuances of cigars, then lots of elderberries, some plum. On the palate dense and rich initially and when developing, opens with plump fruits, notes of plums and blueberries, shows a lot of finely meshed tannin, firm drive.
