The red wine Bailo Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery De Stefani has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvinone Veronese, Corvina, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Very dark ruby with a tendency to garnet. First on the nose barrel savouriness, slightly burnt tones, dried oregano, black tea, chocolate cherries slightly at the end. On the palate then softly, opens on very ripe fruit notes, a lot of wood, though slightly salty, however, brakes on the finish.
