The red wine Cornalin L'Enfer du Calcaire, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Histoire d’Enfer SA has been rated in 2024 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cornalin from the region Sierre in Switzerland.
This has a dark ruby colour. It has absolutely natural, vivid, and unadulterated fruit, with aromas of elderberry juice, plum, some tobacco, as well as dark spices, cardamom, subtle caraway, and some animalistic nuances. It is quite broad and powerful on the palate, with ripe berry flavours, and ripe but engaging tight-knit tannins. It lingers for a very long time, and it is still a very young wine.
