Clear ruby with a shimmering garnet rim. Exciting and intense nose, aromas of fresh cherry, some pomegranate juice, dark pepper. Compact, shows plenty of weight on the palate, but also lots of ripe fruit, then opens up with pithy, gripping tannins, savoury depth, very long finish, great.
