The red wine Barbaresco Sorì San Lorenzo DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Very fine nose, lots of fresh cherries, some wild raspberry, savouriness in the background. On the palate a lot of powerful, dense tannin, but at the same time the wine has fine sweet texture, very clearly drawn, with notes of ripe plums and raspberries, in the final long finish, exceedingly polished.
