The red wine Sorì San Lorenzo Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby colour. Very inviting, light-coloured nose, aromas of fresh raspberry, some strawberry, rose and clove. Full-bodied, gripping tannins on the palate, grippy and with great depth, but currently still quite young and peculiarly rough, unusual for San Lorenzo. Clearly dries out....
