Tasting Notes
Rich, deep dark ruby, broad, dark garnet rim. Rich, dark fruit on the nose, molasses, ripe plum, some dark forest honey, fine black cherry in the background. Still very compact, vivid tannin, unfolds fine-meshed, clearly already shows its maturity, salty.
More about the tastingMedium ruby garnet, violet reflections, brightening at the rim. Somewhat restrained, delicate soft cherry fruit, balsamic spice, tobacco nuances. Very juicy, dark berry fruit, firm tannins, very good persistence, well made. A year that was made for Sangiovese.
