Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and purple reflections. A touch of brightening at the rim suggests some maturity. A seductive bouquet of blackberries and cassis, underlaid by a light caramel note and fresh herbs. The palate is juicy with good complexity - again blackcurrants to the fore - and great tannic ripeness. Very fresh acidity helps create good length to the palate. A fine nougat note emerges on the finish but it feels a bit astringent still - needs its time in bottle. Nonetheless, very promising with certain ageing potential.
