Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections and subtle brightening on the rim. Very seductive bouquet with fine nougat, patisserie notes, black olive, dark forest berries, a hint of cardamom and arancini and fine bourbon vanilla in the background. Juicy and elegant with ripe tannins and very good freshness, already amazingly approachable. There is a touch of liquorice and saltiness on the finish. It seems relatively light on its feet and will no doubt benefit from bottle age. (2025 to 2050).
