Tasting Notes
Clear, deep dark ruby with a purple tinge. Shows plenty of vivid cassis notes on the nose, including elderberry, underpinned by hints of cardamom. Amazingly fresh and juicy on the palate, crisp cassis fruit, opens with vivid, pithy tannins, builds for a long time, savoury.
More about the tastingBrilliant ruby with a slight garnet rim. Somewhat restrained nose, initially slightly metallic notes, then cherries and dried tomatoes. Juicy attack, shows lots of cherry, then opens up with grippy, gripping tannins, nice sweetness on the finish, still needs time, salty.
