The red wine Bòggina A Val D'Arno di Sopra DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Petrolo has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, brilliant ruby red colour. On the nose delicate notes of candied forest fruit, some baked red apple, light savouriness, restrained. On the palate with hearty, juicy, slightly vegetal tannins, as well as very lively acidity, still very young, seems overall a bit narrow.
