The white wine Bòggina B Toscana Bianco IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Petrolo has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Trebbiano from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Light opaque, pale straw yellow colour. Opens with appealing notes of flint and cold smoke, then some pear, grapefruit and capers. Very good tension initially, salty, reductive also on the palate, with well-integrated acidity, unfortunately some bready notes on the finish, phenolic.
