The red wine Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
A bright, luminous ruby red with a transparent core. Red berries on the nose, plus some sour cherries, black pepper and flint. Juicy, racy on the palate, with fine tannins, velvety, good tension, pointed, with precise fruit on the finish.
