The sparkling wine Raventós i Blanc De la Finca, vintage 2019 from the winery Raventós i Blanc has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Xarel-lo, Macabeu, Parellada from the region Conca del Riu Anoia in Spain.
Beautifully pure notions of yellow apple and ripe lemon characterise the nose. The palate also comes with a sense of clarity and purity of fruit, accompanied by gentle, frothy mousse and a medium body that has a pleasantly bitter edge. The subtle fruit makes this beautifully balanced and the bone dry finish melds with that enticing, mouth-watering bitter note and fresh apple.
