The sekt Grauer Burgunder Sekt brut, vintage 2016 from the winery Stiftungsweingut Freiburg has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Some yoghurt, nutty aromas and a rather fine yeasty spiciness on the nose. A comparatively full-bodied sparkling wine on the palate, the mousse is dynamic with medium finesse, the acidity carries the palate. The dosage is rather extra brut. Quite individual and with good length.
