Strong straw yellow with greenish reflections. A clearly recognizable woody note on the nose, dominated by roasted almonds, toast and brioche, followed by somewhat restrained fruit of yellow apple and ripe melon. Dry and taut on the palate, with light tannins, seems overlaid by the wood and therefore not very balanced, medium-bodied, very roasted and slightly bitter on the finish.
