The red wine La Massa IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenuta La Massa has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Age-appropriate closed fruit. Black berries, but also sloe and cedar. Only moderately woody. Beautifully balanced on the palate: dense, grainy, ripe tannins, youthfully firm, yet still juicy, still very young and made to age in the bottle, leave to mature for 5-20 years.
