The sekt Blanc de Blancs brut, vintage 2017 from the winery Wein & Sekthaus Alois Kiefer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Yellow-fruity and opulent aroma with buttery notes, plus components of banana and pear. The mousse is very fine and smooth on the palate. The buttery note lingers and makes this sparkling wine, based on Burgundy varieties, appear to be a flatterer.
