The sparkling wine »Réserve« Riesling Sekt extra brut, vintage 2012 from the winery Wein- und Sektgut Bamberger has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Nahe in Germany.
It has aromas of ripe pear and apple, as well as baked apple, some cider, yeast, honey, and also some spiciness. On the palate it has ripe fruit, pear, yellow fruit, fine mousse, notes of maturity, vivid and ripe acidity, some minerality, and a little peppery character on the finish. It is long and consistent.
