The red wine »Cuvée Max« trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut August Kesseler has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Spätburgunder from the region Rheingau in Germany.
On the nose, undertones of blackcurrant with tarry notes, hints of pepper and beetroot. On the palate, impressive, powerful, firm and fine grained tannins give a velvety ripeness with a long, lingering, mineral based finish.
