The white wine »Grand Vin« Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Axel Bauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Baden in Germany.
Balsamic and slightly toasty wood, floral aromas, terpenes. On the palate, the wine reveals muscle and fat, the concentrated fruit has almost raisin-like undertones, the mellow phenolics radiate power without drying out. A chunk of wine that will undoubtedly refine with ageing in the bottle.
