Tasting Notes
Smoky, flinty, gunpowder, fine animating reduction initially. Not too much primary fruits, there is pear, also yellow fruit, apple, apple skin, melon, pumpkin skin, some light pipe tobacco. Yellow plum, herbal. Focused and tense on the palate, well-cushioned by tightly built body, medium weight structure, absolutely coherent, solid and balanced in this weight class. Ripe acidity, juicy, the maritime notes are appetising and animating, fine tart apple, some pear, melon that adds support, fine phenolics lining the palate, savoury, quite intense, not too long, not too complicated, but a real Huber.
