The white wine Freyburg Schweigenberg Riesling, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Böhme & Töchter has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 - 95 Falstaff points.
The aroma mixes citrus fruit (tangerine) with smoky, clearly mineral aromas, there is also a note of wet stone and bread crust. On the palate the wine is dense and taut, with acidity, quite dry (1.7 g/l residual sugar), yet completely harmonious, salty, balanced, immensely vivid, highly resolving and long.
