The sweet and dessert wine Scharzhofberger Riesling Eiswein, vintage 1989 from the winery Weingut Egon Müller-Scharzhof has been rated in 2007 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Pale golden yellow. Very elegant on the nose, with a complex texture, very balanced style. Less characterized by botrytis because a Beerenauslese was harvested from the vineyard before the harvest in December. Fine peach fruit, pleasant, inviting blossom honey, orange zest, lively, almost light-footed, already harmonious, delicate tropical fruit on the finish, multi-layered aromas on the aftertaste, great length.
