The red wine »Servator«, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Initially, there is a lot of smoky new wood, followed by pepper and balsamic herbs. In the mouth, the wine is very dense, pronounced in fruit, round and full-bodied, yet also juicy and is supported by noticeable chalky-mineral undertones on the finish.
