The red wine G, vintage 1999 from the winery Weingut Gesellmann has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Intense carmine garnet colour, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Fine notes of ripe plums, some nougat caramel, candied orange zest, some vanilla, very inviting bouquet. Complex and full-bodied, with fresh acidity, pronounced fruit texture, ripe, supporting tannins, compact, structured wine with great length, incredibly youthful, mineral, perfect for its 25 years of age, still has more years ahead of it.
