Tasting Notes
Deep garnet, ochre reflections, broad and bright rim. An attractive, mature bouquet, ripe plums, delicate notes of nougat and figs, hints of herbal savouriness, lovage and candied orange zest. Complex on the palate, sweet blackberry confit, ripe cherries, a fresh acidic core, vivid, well-ripened tannins and pronounced fruit on the long, lingering finish. Has been on a perfect plateau of maturity for some time now, but still has further ageing potential. (2025, drink, hold +10)
