The red wine Jaspis Syrah, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Hanspeter Ziereisen has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Baden in Germany.
Distinct (but not dominant) wood (caramel, coconut) and a mainly floral varietal aroma. Raspberry, almost Pinot-like in undertones. On the palate taut yet sophisticated, lots of juice and nerve, highly elegant wine with a fine, almost delicate tannin that should nevertheless bring high resistance for bottle aging. Great length, remaining completely homogeneous until the end.
