The red wine Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Haus im Turm has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
From a steep slope in Unkel. Brick-red edges, slightly malty aroma. But also red berry aromas and an aroma of fruit bread and light herbal savouriness. The palate structure has a creamy base and is filled with a carefully extracted amount of ripe, grainy tannin. Charm and finesse.
