The white wine »Gottfried« Unkel Weißburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Haus im Turm has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
A fragrant cool nose of thyme and some yeast, then smoky and mineral notes emerge. On the palate lots of juice with wonderful drive, making it feel extraordinarily gluggable. Hints of citrus, some peach and lime zest mingle with a crystal clear acidity.
