A sparkling, rich golden yellow. A rich nose with intense notes of baked apple and dried mango, underpinned by rich cloves; the varietal character is still clearly recognizable. Concentrated and full-bodied on the palate, with high extract and noticeable acidity; however, it could use a touch more freshness overall—as it is, it comes across as almost overwhelming.
