The sweet and dessert wine Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Eiswein Auslese, vintage 1961 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2014 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Light greenish yellow. Initially smoky, rather restrained, shows a fine lanolin, scent of lime peel. Taut on the palate, the residual sugar recedes completely into the background, subtle petrol note, lemony touch, mineral finish, has its very best years behind it.
