The sweet and dessert wine Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Eiswein, vintage 2002 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Light green yellow in colour. Fine, full-bodied sweetness on the nose, hints of acacia honey, notes of beeswax, with more air a strong smoky mineral note comes to the fore, and underlaid with a fine lemony touch. Juicy stone fruit on the palate, finely layered flavours, very good raciness, which buffers the residual sugar very well, fine caramel flavour on the finish, quite balanced for its young state, and some lime zest on the finish.
