Tasting Notes
It is quite developed in its fruit, almost with a spiciness reminiscent of ripe Silvaner. Meadow herbs, some citrus, and pomelo. Expansive on the palate but also dense, well-integrated wood, it has substantial reserves for further years of ageing a firm, slightly isolated acid backbone.
More about the tastingSome wood barrel notes, the beginning of developing floral notes. Rich, relaxed, silky, juicy, with a ripe acidity seamlessly integrated into the body, a polished, subtle minerality with wonderful length.
More about the tastingSubtle wood, cassis, grapefruit and rhubarb. Shell limestone drive and a taut acid backbone, a dense, still youthful Sauvignon with very good certain ageing potential.
