The white wine »2« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Leiling has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The Chardonnay "2" is a convincing overall package. The ripe fruit notes of pear, peach, confectionery and yellow apple are rounded off by the aroma of roasted hazelnuts. On the finish, subtle green notes contrast with the fruitiness. Very successful.
