The white wine Hôpital Grauer Burgunder, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Leiling has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Still some reductive notes on the nose, bitter almonds. On the palate, a lovely fullness, velvety, supple, a mature texture, but also fresh. Lots of lime in the background. A fantastic wine with food, pairing excellently with Blanquette de Veau. Perhaps decant for half an hour before.
