The sweet and dessert wine »Goldkapsel« Oppenheim Herrenberg Riesling Auslese, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Manz has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 - 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Initially lightly scented, then notes of delicate herbs, ripe apricot, lime zest, also iodine, a cool fragrance. The herbs become expressive on the palate, quince is added, the finish is very berryish and juicy, the elegant sweetness fires up the drinking flow.
