The white wine »Kalkmergel« Godramstein Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Münzberg has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Lemon yellow in the glass. Fine fragrance of pineapple, ripe apple and vanilla. On the palate there are further complex flavours of lemon zest, apricot, brioche and chalk all balanced by a lively acidity. Slightly phenolic but very good finish.
