The white wine »Tradition 1720« Chardonnay Barrique, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Auxerrois from the region Moselle in Germany.
Aroma of butternut, ripe pear, grated apple, smoke and subtle vanilla. On the palate it shows with fresh acidity and fine phenolics, pleasantly gripping, pear again, almond, smooth, medium structure and length, successful use of oak, slight sweetness on the finish, harmonious.
